NaSTA
The National Student Television Association
YSTV has had a long and productive history as a key player in NaSTA. We hosted or co-hosted the annual Conference and Awards Ceremony three times in 10 years (1997, 2002 and 2006). We've been "Highly Commended" in the Best Broadcaster award three times (2002, 2005, 2006 and 2011), jointly won it in 1998 and won it solo in 2012. We have also managed to bring back at least one award every year since 2001. For more information see the NaSTA Website.

- 2000 Hosted by C6 in Bournemouth - 'nuff said. This was the first year with "professional" judges rather than the Eurovision-style voting system that had existed before.Unverified or incomplete information Newsletters from 2000 in the YSTV Archive suggest that it was held by YSTV in York. The awards were decided by a weighted vote with each station receiving a vote, and a judge in each category having a weighted vote.
