James joined YSTV in 1997, and quickly became part of the team producing Bulletin. He was the main interviewer on Election 98 and EN 99, and the host of the second Never Mind The Rip-Off as well as action in Lolita. He held the post of Controller of News and Current Affairs during 1998-9. He returned to YSTV as co-host of the URYVision Song Contest in June 2004.
Brookesy is better know for his work with URY - in fact he amazingly still presents two shows a week on the station. It has been rumoured he will "retire" in 2007 after ten years involved in campus media.
He is now a teacher.
