Season 4

Episode 1 – Nerds and Losers

Presented by Jamie Parker-East and Kory Anderson, with guest Dan Wade and an appearance from Cameron Fox to discuss Apple Vision Pro preorders and Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event. The Open Source Project Of The Week was Netbox. Dan's favourite production was the 48 Hour Livestream and his favourite bodge was the battery-powered OB during Battle Of The Birds 2023. Dan's show and tell item was a DVB-T receiver, and Jamie's was a collection of branded pens from different departments of the University. The episode also featured a discussion of homelabs.

Episode 2 – 20x4 vom.deltitnU

Presented by Jamie Parker-East and Kory Anderson, with guest Marks Polakovs. Inspired by the surprising difficulty Jamie encountered while trying to rotate a video of Keir Starmer by 90 degrees for Everything's Fine earlier that evening, the entire show (including VTs, titles and idents) was flipped horizontally and segments happened in reverse order, ending with the opening titles. Production Director Cameron Fox loved this gimmick so much that he proceeded to deliver the following week's Production Meeting in reverse order too. The episode featured behind-the-scenes discussion of Marks' graphics for Game Night: King Of The Hill, as well as the news that Apple will enable sideloading, alternative app marketplaces and alternative browser engines for EU users in iOS 17.4. The standard of the week was WebP. Marks' show and tell was the SD card reader used to play out Game Night earlier in the show, and Jamie's was the "Caution: Tech Stuff On The Floor" sign.

Episode 3 – Walk and talk

Presented by Kory Anderson, with guests Will Stirk, Marks Polakovs and Cameron Fox. This episode was broadcast via a FaceTime call from Cameron's iPhone (attached to Stirky's gimbal) back to the studio iPad, allowing the team to present the show while walking continuously around campus. The route set off from the studio, passing through Vanbrugh and Derwent (including a visit to the balcony of Central Hall), after which the VT - a mock episode of Touristed following Marks, Jamie and Dan on their trip to Slough the previous week - was played out. The stream returned from VT in URY's studio red, before continuing to Campus North and, eventually, Campus East, travelling through the Computer Science building and ending up on a bench by the lake. This was the longest episode of Untitled.mov to date.

Episode 4 – Techies Not Found

Inspired by the episode number 4x04's similarity to the HTTP error code 404 meaning "Not Found" (and quite how exhausted the tech team were after the previous day's Show Swap), this episode was a livestream of an empty studio. It featured the usual titles and a VT, plus auto-advancing slides on the TV. The episode was remotely vision-mixed from Courtyard by Max Moir.

Episode 5 – Hold the phone

Presented by Kory Anderson with guest Dan Wade and late arrival Jamie Parker-East. The episode focused on OpenAI's new text-to-video model Sora.

Episode 6 – Make Bossman The Boss, Man

Presented by Jamie Parker-East and Kory Anderson with guest Liam Burnand. This episode centred around Jamie officially announcing his campaign for YUSU President and his manifesto points. The news segment discussed the hoax announcement that Gmail was to be sunset, Signal's introduction of usernames, WhatsApp's new text formatting options, Chrome's new Help Me Write feature and Wubuntu. The Open Source Project Of The Week was SuperTokens. Liam's favourite production was Roses, his favourite bodge was leaving a panic in production code on his year in industry and his show and tell item was the server emergency mallet.

Episode 7 – Chekhov's Microphone

Presented by Kory Anderson with guests Niamh Fenn, Will Stirk and Ronnie Young. Notably, this is the first ever episode of Untitled.mov not to feature an appearance of any kind by Jamie Parker-East. The Open Source Project Of The Week was Bitfocus Companion.
