stoic is the acronym for Student Television of Imperial College.

After Matt Cunningham of The Matt and Dave Show declared his love of Small Screen at the NaSTA 2005 conference five members of YSTV (Jonathan Bufton, Kate Rushworth, Tom Hughes, Dave Baker and Sarah Leese) visited stoic in June 2005. Jonathan and Kate were guests on the programme, including playing "Crash Matt" against each other.

Two weeks later Matt and stoic Station Director John Anderson visited YSTV for the last edition of Small Screen, where they were interviewed about the behind-the-scenes film that had been made by Jonathan about their programme.

Stoic were also kind enough to help with the filming of Greg Dyke's video message to be screened at the YSTV40 Birthday Party when he was unable to be present at the event.
