NaSTA 2014 was held in Loughborough by LSUTV. YSTV took along a number of members.

YSTV won best Technical Achievement again, this time with docs:Kenobi. We also took home Best Broadcaster, which we received for "doing whatever the fuck we want", and Highly Commended Factual for Lights on Literature.

Other highlights included:

• Having been given the Golden Bodge categories of "Football" in the style of "50s Americano", including the line "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off", and knowledge of the existence of [1], it was decided to do what the fuck we wanted and ignore all the rules. We later won the People's Choice Award for the Best Golden Bodge. [2]
• Liz Pascoe Cracked her ribs attempting to get home on Saturday and decided it involved climbing a fence.
• The unfortunate loss of the fluffy handcuffs that Sam Nicholson claims were his housemates'.
• Some industry talks.
• Chris Wall's room. Again. Toothpaste was involved. Again. Ask him.
• The first play through of Cards Against YSTV, breaking Lloyd's record for most number of people in his bedroom at once (now set at 21).
