In summer 2003, an awful lot of people graduated. Some more went off on sandwich course placements. Others that were returning from placements chose to concentrate on their degrees.  Consequently, there were only four current active members left at the start of Autumn term 2003:

These four had the daunting task of recruiting a new generation of members and teaching them to make live television. They succeeded, and the continued success of YSTV is a testament to the work they put in during that first term, recruiting the likes of [[Richard Ash]], [[Rowan de Pomerai]], [[Pete Nichols]], [[Adam Van Coevorden]], [[Anthony Laverty]], [[Kate Rushworth]], [[James Flinders]] and many others.
