Election Night 1994 was made all the more remarkable in that it was broadcast whilst YSTV was without a regular studio (although it had been confirmed that G/046 would be the new home, at the time of broadcast it was still a lecture theatre). The programme was broadcast from a temporary studio next door.
Perhaps because of the homelessness of the station the night had a slightly slower pace than the usual YSTV Election Nights, with lots of VTs and a spoof called "Campus Shopping Network".
At the end of the programme the presenters said that YSTV would be away for a while but would hope to be back some time in the summer term when the new studio was built.
