According to a YSTV/NaSTA newsletter from 1990, David's first act as Station Director was to buy an edit suite that YSTV had been saving for, which made editing easier and programmes slicker. He also produced the daily magazine programme [[002]], which was broadcast every day throughout the summer term (a feat believed to have unmatched since!)
