Checkmate is the most watched video of all time on the YSTV website, and as of May 2017 had surpassed 20,000 views.<ref>https://ystv.co.uk/watch/drama/Checkmate/</ref> Witnessing it remains a common rite of passage for new YSTV and [[URY]] members.
