Paint

When the wall of the studio was painted green in January 2004 for chroma key purposes, it was decided to take the opportunity to film an ident. The YSTV logo was fed into Panasonic Max, and the camera pointed at the then blank wall. As Ed Jellard painted the green onto the wall it created the effect of him painting a flawless YSTV logo onto the wall.

For a while an "alternative" version of Paint was used, called Paint Backwards. Here the ident was simply reversed to produce the odd effect of Ed cleaning the ident off the wall. This was often used at the end of a night's programming.
