Kings of Queen were (are?) a York-based Queen tribute band. They performed a charity gig at the Barbican Centre in York and approached YSTV to film the event. Four cameras were used to produce a live recording of the gig which was made into a "souvenir video" for friends of the band members. Additionally, the footage was re-edited to produce a much shorter promotional video for the band. This was a commercial job and YSTV were paid for doing the production and duplicating the tapes. Two of the cameras were hired in from Yorkshire Sound and Light (they were large-format Sony DV cameras). Kevin Bowman was the director, Michael Prior-Jones the producer and Andrew Talbot the technical manager. The camera operators were Gemma Dadley, Briony Pocklington and Adam Dymond.
