Formerly known as Cinematography Society.  Set up in 1998 to provide a place for film-makers who didn't feel catered for by YSTV, who at that point had a large bias towards news and current affairs.  The history section of their website is not very complimentary about YSTV during this period, however there have been a number of collaborations over studio space and equipment in recent years.

The society failed to re-ratify in 2014-15. Much of their equipment was inherited by YSTV, including the [[Cannon XL1]] and [[the Jib]].
