Karen is the name given to the ingest machine in the YSTV studio, responsible for ingesting footage from camera SD cards and audio files onto the pending edits network drive, due to an apparent resemblance to the computer from the kids cartoon Spongebob Squarepants.

In 2022, she was upgraded to have a touch screen monitor leading to several members playing fruit on her.
