John Biltcliffe joined YSTV also most as soon as he arrived at York university in October 1999.  Despite the fact that he only completed one year of his electronics degree course he continued to be involved with the TV station until he moved down to London in the autumn of 2001.   
John Biltcliffe joined YSTV almost as soon as he arrived at York university in October 1999.  Despite the fact that he only completed one year of his electronics degree course he continued to be involved with the TV station until he moved down to London in the autumn of 2001.   


During his time with YSTV he held the posts of web master and treasurer.  He also stood for station director in the spring of 2000 along side Jenny Gordon and Peter Bowles who ultimately won.  He also was involved in set building which included the new desk, originally built for the [[SU Elections 2001]] however has been repainted and appeared in many programmes since.  He also designed and built the set for the [[Elections 2003]].
