Music Department Practical Project

This catchily-named event was filmed by YSTV from 2000/2001Unverified or incomplete information to 2002. It was, as the name suggests, a project by students at the music department, which culminated around week 7 of the Autumn term with a performance in the Jack Lyons Concert Hall on campus. Think Fusion without the attitude.

For a couple of years YSTV filmed the performance on request from the music department, with the intention of the students then being able to own a copy of their work on VHS. From YSTV's point of view it was more of a practice run for larger film-and-project events such as Woodstock. The event was never broadcast, however clips occasionally got into that year's Best Broadcaster compilation.
