Zoë joined YSTV as a fresher in 2018. Originally a maths student, she quickly changed her subject to film and TV, as she realized it was way more fun. Nonetheless, she made her way back to the maths department when she joined YSTV with newly found best friend Caroline Preynat-Viero. Together they form Tape Team.
Zoë regularly takes on the role of producer or floor manager, and was elected Social Secretary in 2019.
In 2020, she was elected Station Director, making her take over the running of YSTV during the ear of YSTV Quarantine.
She started of working on a few episodes of Tea Time Chat, before stepping up to co-produce the first Fight Night featured on YSTV Sport alongside Edwin Barnes. This was her first major production and led to her producing several shows in the coming terms, including being chosen as Studio Lead for Roses 2019. She also produced and directed several other instalments of YSTV Sport, was heavily involved in the live broadcasts of YUSU Elections 2019 and the Love York Awards 2019 and has also been a Camera OP for many other productions. Zoë also attended NaSTA 2019 and went on the camping trip to Scarborough.
One of YSTV's most sociable and energising members, Zoë can often be found drinking in Courtyard (which she coincidentally lived right above during first year) or simply hanging out in the studio. She organised several social events (from club nights to board game evenings in the studio), and was therefore elected Social Secretary at the end of her first year.
