Michael was more known for his URY presenting whilst at York, however he did produce Bona Dicta for a year between May 2003 and May 2004, presenting the show for the first six months or so of that time. He also anchored the panel during Elections 2004 and Elections 2005, and made a brief (but memorable) appearance on Off The Cuff.
He presented on BBC Radio York from just before graduting until early 2007, and is now a director of The Leeds Brewery.
