Formerly known as Cinematography Society. Set up in 1998 to provide a place for film-makers who didn't feel catered for by YSTV, who at that point had a large bias towards news and current affairs. The history section of their website was apparently not very complimentary about YSTV during this period, however there were a number of collaborations over studio space and equipment in later years.

The society failed to re-ratify in 2014-15. Much of their equipment was inherited by YSTV, including the Canon XL1 and the Jib.
