Nice to find someone else who got bored rigid by the constitution...you are spot on when you say the station would keep going without it, I was always mystified why some people were obsessed by it! [[User:Jonathan|Jonathan]] 09:29, 8 June 2007 (BST) | |||

Unbiassed?
I think in the interests of a neutral reporting of historical events the opening paragraph to this needs changing. There seems to be some implication that people who left in 2000 would be expected to resist change to the constitution/policy, but since there weren't any drafts before 2000 graduation it'd be hard to comment on this.
As I recall these were two of the most dreary and dull documents ever, which (remembering this is a student society and not a multibillion dollar broadcasting corporation) should generally stay in the filing cabinet where they belong. If there was no constitution at all I'm sure YSTV would keep going just the same.
The one (singular) useful rule was that you weren't allowed to work on exposed mains equipment alone in the station: one person to do the work, and another to ring the ambulance. Sprow 08:24, 8 June 2007 (BST)
