Neil joined the station in 2006. In 2007 he successfully stood (with [[Michael Stannard]]) for [[Scheduling Manager]] and later held the title of [[Deputy Computing Officer]] for five terms.

He frequently appeared on various quiz shows/segments, eventually taking control of [[LipSync]] when former producer [[Rick Selby]] stood down.
