+Coming to York as an international student, Thomas had no idea YSTV even existed until the day he arrived at uni. After stepping out of the bus from the airport, he was greeted by none other than [[Raquel Bartra]]. She suggested he should join YSTV, which he did the week after Freshers’ Week.

Besides editing the 32-minute long episode, Thomas also created the 2D map animations and came up with the concept for the intro sequence. At [[NaSTA 2020]], this production won awards for ''Best Post-Production'' and for ''Best Title Sequence''. In 2021, Thomas' work as editor got him an "Editing Craft Award" from the Royal Television Society.
