It was indeed 7.30am on friday morning, I think I actually went to a lecture.  I was assistant director (I think Chris or Debbie was director) for the "12.30am to Finish" slot, which I was expecting to be nice and short (ahem).  Then came the recounts, and more recounts.... seriously, who invented STV?  They need shooting.  If my memory serves me, Peter B was on vision, and by the end the both of us could set up an interview without looking at the monitors.  I'd count the interviewees into the studio and set the cameras, and Pete could vision mix by the sound of people's voices.  I remember the end rather well, I think my last message over the cans was something like "Well done everyone, and good morning, it's 7.30am, the sun is up, and it's snowing..."  I'd love to see some footage of that night sometime, I spent many a happy afternoons painting that set and getting high on the fumes :o)  To this day I do not know how people managed to fill so much air time --[[User:PaulLeader|PaulLeader]] 00:07, 2 October 2007 (BST)
