NaSTA 2003 was held in Glasgow by GUST over four days in April 2003. YSTV took just four members - Kevin Bowman, Michael Prior-Jones, Dave Baker and Jonathan Bufton.
Everyone stayed in a very purple tower block in the city centre called EuroHostel, which whilst being very cheap was also a bit cramped - it was two to a room, often with a complete stranger!
Activities included programme brainstorming sessions and talks from people behind BBC Scotland shows such as Balamory and The Saturday Show.
The Golden Bodge this year was YSTV was to be a cross between a western, the Crystal Maze, and pondlife. It starred Dave Baker and Michael Prior-Jones as fishy gansgsters and Jonathan Bufton (in a shower cap) as Richard O'Brien. It was filmed around a playground in Glasgow, and was well-received but ultimately lost out.
On the first night we went to an enormous club called The Garage, and on the second on a bowling trip. The final night was the awards ceremony, which saw YSTV take home awards for Battle of the Bands, Reader of the Road and the "snow" ident.
