Ian was an active member of YSTV during 1995-96. He made regular appearances as a presenter on several shows, including the one-offs The Saturday Show and the York Pub Crawl, both of which enabled him to indulge his James Bond obsession. He was also producer, director and star of a (hopefully long-lost) attempt at a Pulp Fiction remake in 1995.
He went on to become all respectable as YUSU's charities officer, but regular re-runs of the York Pub Crawl were guaranteed to remind him of earlier, happier times.
