There was never a PCMCIA network card in the late 1990's. In 1996 it was an A500 (?) with an internal floppy for loading the software and external floppy for important graphics etc... Then Mike Green (think that's his name, he had a pony tail and blonde hair and did graphics for lemmings or similar games house) donated an A5000 (?) which had an internal hard disc - that was fantastic compared with the bump and grind of the old machine.
