Shortly after the [[HD Upgrade]], a series of idents were created in a 'test' of the new vision path. They were created by [[Robert Walker]], [[David Heaton]] and [[Sam Nicholson]], when they tied up [[Lloyd Wallis]] in a darkened studio. The next half an hour was spent with Lloyd reeling off different lines, including a rendition of [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jofNR_WkoCE 'The fox']. This was then edited down to a number of idents, each ending with the [[Logo | YSTV logo]].

These idents later inspired the hostage VT in [[Children in Need 2013]]. A similar style ident made from the footage of the pre-fire warning scene of [[TUC]] was also made at this time.
