The set looks remarkably similar to Election 94 (unless the same one was used two years running) - I remember putting together Elections Past and being struck by the flower backdrop for that year! Jonathan 15:19, 27 May 2007 (BST)

It might well be 94 rather than 93 - I couldn't remember, and based my guess on the other photos being from 1993. SarahD 15:21, 27 May 2007 (BST)

I agree with Sarah - I had a bit of a problem at this point of the evening; the guy with the beard was a bona fide election candidate, whom I was interviewing. Then the idjit with the balaclava turned up out of nowhere, presumably having heard my accent (Northern Irish) and pretended to be a "political candidate" with a heavy (and extremely intoxicated) "Southern Irish" accent... Unoffended, I politely tried to get him to leave the set ASAP, which happened, but someone complained about the fact that the idjit was on our set pretending to be a terrorist and the YSTV boss David Bunting had to go on air and give an official apology later on that evening...
