A mostly new team of officers (the exception~~ was ~~the Director, [[Peter Bowles]]) took over and looked at the society with fairly fresh eyes~~. ~~The Constitution and Policy documents were quite badly hacked around, weren't easy to understand and had various other shortcomings. In particular,~~ there were ~~some "Officer" posts which were created~~ in the Constitution and ~~formed a "committee" and other "non-officer posts" which~~ were created in the Policy ~~and had fewer rights and responsibilities~~. Within each team were a number of more junior positions - the idea being that in the event of a position being vacant the relevant team leader would carry out their duties.
