YSTV Live started as a continuation of Acoustic Treatment, and has become a regular part of the YSTV schedule, and [available online]. Bands from Campus and the local area play 20-30 minute sets in YSTV's studio, mixed and filmed live on air. A round up of forthcoming live events in the York area finishes the show.
YSTV Live aims to both build upon and support the large scale outside broadcast work done at Woodstock and Battle of the Bands, giving an opportunity to develop skills in the slightly more controlled environment of the YSTV studio, and bring in musicians from other genres not normally seen at the big campus events.
