Can't remember what day of the week this was (maybe Thursday) but it definitely finished around 7.30am on a weekday (not Saturday as it says in the article) as some of the crew managed to then go onto 9.15 lectures. Some of us just went to bed.. Cjw116 16:06, 16 May 2007 (BST)

I'm glad someone else thought Saturday was wrong. Near the end, when running a bit short on things to point cameras at, I think they turned the cameras on the crew - catching me with my eyes closed next to a monitor showing the big beeb clock thing I wrote. Tim and I made it to our C tutorial, though as I recall you only had to turn up to get registered then we sloped off back to bed. Looking at the date stamps on my C lab source code they're all Fridays, suggesting EN was Thursday. Sprow 16:19, 16 May 2007 (BST)

A shot with the clock showing 7:30 am and someone asleep makes it through into Elections Past, although I never worked out who it was (to sign and date your post, just bung four tildes in when you edit). Richardash1981 19:16, 16 May 2007 (BST)

The only reason I wrote Saturday was that currently election nights take place on Friday night, was it when they moved to Derwent that it changed? Jonathan 09:38, 17 May 2007 (BST)

It was indeed 7.30am on friday morning, I think I actually went to a lecture. I was assistant director (I think Chris or Debbie was director) for the "12.30am to Finish" slot, which I was expecting to be nice and short (ahem). Then came the recounts, and more recounts.... seriously, who invented STV? They need shooting. If my memory serves me, Peter B was on vision, and by the end the both of us could set up an interview without looking at the monitors. I'd count the interviewees into the studio and set the cameras, and Pete could vision mix by the sound of people's voices. I remember the end rather well, I think my last message over the cans was something like "Well done everyone, and good morning, it's 7.30am, the sun is up, and it's snowing..." I'd love to see some footage of that night sometime, I spent many a happy afternoons painting that set and getting high on the fumes :o) To this day I do not know how people managed to fill so much air time --PaulLeader 00:07, 2 October 2007 (BST)
