Walked up to SU, Lies and Videotape (SULVT) while they were covering a UGM during the autumn term of 1994, to find out what they were about. Sally Gray encourage her to join, where she fronted for SULVT and Week by Week. Noted for getting very drunk on the free beer (for the panel) during Election 95. Nickname "Fred", Kate interviewed MP Tony Benn in Central Hall at one point during the nineties.
