This was Rob Sprowson's rip-off of the BBC1 hot air balloon ident that had gone on air in October the previous year.
It consisted of a series of campus scenes shot with a red balloon held in front of the camera.
The letters YSTV in squares were designed to look like the new BBC logo.
It was revived (this time with the authentic soundtrack) in summer 2005 to begin an episode of Small Screen.
