Alan joined in 2006, and once his knowledge of Linux came out he was snapped up by the computing team as Web Designer. He seems to be looking after the web stream at the moment, trying to work out why it keeps dying. At the 2007 AGM, he was elected to the post of Computing Officer, after spending a lot of time trying to tidy up and standardise the back-end of the YSTV website.
